Reply with quote | #1 | I have currently setup a trial version of facilities manager. All okay apart from when I log in and click on the counts tab the scan count box is blank. All other readings are okay. If I download a meter report there is no information in the scan count boxes. I am monitoring a number of Ricoh mfd's and one HP mfd. Is there something I could have missed on setup? Appreciate any help you can give me. As this is a trial I would like everything to be working so I can show other departments in my company. It is possible that these devices are not providing us with this information or this information is not available in the MIB.
In order for us to determine why these counts are not showing in Facilities Manager we need the following:
- A MIB walk of the device. (You will need to be on site, or remotely connected to their environment to do this)
- Open the ICE Administrator
- Click Tools -> Walk device
- Enter in the IP address of the device, click Walk
- The walk file is located in the following location C:\Documents and Settings\USER_LOGIN\My Documents\Print Audit Inc\Facilities Manager\2.0\Walks
- Screen shot of the embedded web page that displays the information that is missing.
- Open a web browser, type in the IP address of the device we are working with
- Browse through the tabs to find the information that is missing
- Take a screen shot of this page

Reply with quote | #3 | Hello when I open up the ICD administrator I don't see a tools option. Also I can't find the walk file in that location. Could you point me in the right direction please as due to my limited knowledge of the software perhaps I am doing something wrong? Regards Dave |

Unfortunately we are not able to receive attachments through our knowledge base. However you mention that the scan counts are not in the embedded web page, if they are not displayed in the embedded web page then the counts will not be in the MIB of the device which is where we get our information from.
