Issue:

Some print jobs show the application name as "Unknown Application" in the Job Manager. Below is a list of applications that we know exhibit this behavior:

• QuarkXpress 7.01 and newer
• Adobe Photoshop CS2
• Adobe Photoshop CS3
• Adobe Illustrator CS2
• Adobe Illustrator CS3
• Adobe Acrobat 7.0 and newer

Cause:

Applications like Quark and Adobe do not provide their application name to the spooler so Print Audit cannot provide the name of the application.

Resolution:

There currently is no resolution.
